Q: WHY TAKE THE UPDATE CLASS IN THE FALL?
A: Major changes are coming to Offer to Purchase & Contract

As most of you know, the standard Offer to Purchase and Contract form designed for use in residential sales transactions has been REVISED. The effective date is January 1, 2011. Take your Real Estate Mandatory Update EARLY to learn about the significant changes, the use of the "due diligence period" concept that has been in commercial sales contracts and realize Alternatives One and Two are deleted.

The HUD-1 and Good Faith Estimate have also been revised effective January 1, 2010. You will gain a better understanding for the underlying reason for these changes and what a broker's responsibilities are as to the proper completion of both forms.

Continuing Education for Brokers-in-Charge

Superior School of Real Estate offers Broker-in-Charge continuing education STATEWIDE. All Brokers-in-Charge and "BIC eligible" Brokers are required by the NC Real Estate Commission to attend the 4-hour BIC Annual Review Course and the 4-hour Real Estate Update Course each year.

Certified Short Sale Seller (CSSS) Designation - 2 day course

The Certified Short Sale Seller (CSSS) designation is developed and presented by Julia Iden of Advance Mortgage Education and is the only short sale designation that is North Carolina state specific. Agents need to know NC state specific information when taking short sale listings. Many have attended short sale classes or acquired the National Association of Realtor's SFR certification as the first step in an effort to better prepare themselves to work the short sale market. Getting the CSSS designation is your next step. This 2-day course is approved for up to 8 hours of NCREC continuing education elective credit.

Superior School of Real Estate is proud to be working with Course Creators to promote and host the InstaTekkie (IT) Certification course throughout North Carolina.
